Well exciting to me.
Here is part of that post I promised you about the fun things I have been getting up to. This is just one glimpse of what was created in a week. I still have a home to make for them, and some wriggly things are making them some food.
This is a first to me, I have never grown anything from seed let-a-lone a vegetable garden. It is very exciting.

Other then growing baby plants I have been on a mission to plan and start organising our wedding.
We have 38 weeks. Although that might seem like ages to some, I know it is going to go fast.
Pregnancy is only 40 weeks and I can tell you that goes fast. Although the wedding isn’t going to come a week early. Getting a start on things now and being organised isn’t going to hurt. And being a Virgo I have a passionate urge to organise things.
Trust me, it drives everyone crazy.. I think… Do I?

Before I started my blog I was sending out about 4 or 5 photos in an email to around 10 different people. Mainly family, but some friends.
Photos of how we were doing and how Cohen was growing.
I had started doing this since I announced that I was pregnant. Back then it was of my growing belly and I usually sent them out once a month if not more.
Then I discovered blogging and the emails stopped. Amen to blogging.
Though confusion has now been discovered in the older ranks of my family as to were these emails are and why they have stopped – yes I’m talking about you Nan .
Well rather then sending out emails to everyone, everyone can now check in here to see what is going on in our world far away, oh and do I have some exciting things to tell. Exciting for me that is. But I will leave that for another post. But just to keep you hanging onto your seats, it involves worms and careful planning. Are you interested yet, or making a point to miss that post?!
And since I think a post is boring without some photos, here are some of my little family at the gardens.

On the weekend we had Cohen’s first birthday party. All his little friends came along and a few of ours as well. It was a good evening. Here are some pics from his special day.
I didn’t make the cake myself, I just assembled it and coated it in blue fluffy icing. Yummy.
.
Happy family
We got him his own little cake to demolish, it was a banana cake with banana icing.

More like, where have I been!!!
Yes, tomorrow it would have been a month since my last post. So slack. But I have been away for 2 weeks. Does that count??
I have been busy busy busy since arriving home. One thing being getting ready for Cohen’s first birthday which is today. Wow hasn’t that gone fast.
My holidays were fantastic, thanks for asking. I love seeing my family and get away from my daily chores.
It was like a different world down there though.
At Christmas when I was there it was beautiful and green. This time it was hot, dry and dusty. Mainly dry and dusty. I couldn’t believe how everything was brown and dead. It really makes me appreciate the tropics.
Well here’s some photos of my time away.
I mentioned the dust right?
