Session
When working with families and children, I work in a very casual manner.
I love capturing families together, and children’s little personalities.
For me to be able to capture your child’s little charms, it is best for me to follow them around without Mum and Dad over my shoulder saying cheese.
Family sessions may last up to 2 hours, I don’t like to rush anyone, especially children.
I shoot on location in the Rockhampton areas with natural light, preferably late in the afternoon to capture that beautiful golden light.
If you live out of the Rockhampton area a travel fee applies.
With newborns I photograph them in the late morning and allow for 3-4 hour, lots of time for settling and feeding if they need so.
They are also best photographed within the first 2 weeks. This is when they are still very sleepy and easy to curl into position.
Newborn shoots are held in the comfort of your own home so you can relax and take a break while bub is being photographed.
If you would rather take baby out on location, that is fine. We can find a location convenient for you
Clothing
Everybody is unique so why not your clothing as well. Co-ordinating is the best rather than matching.
Colours and layers always look good. Avoid too much white, and written logos, shoes are optional and newborns look best in their birth suits.
Individuality is what we are after, make sure you are comfortable and in something that is you.
After your session
Within a week I will send you a sneak peek that you can share with family and friends.
2-3 weeks after your session a password protected gallery will be available for you to view and place your print order.
Once your order is completed and payment is made, allow 4-6 weeks for delivery of your products.
